Happy New Year
2019 is now over... Some ukulele highlights for myself include going to my first ukulele festival, receiving my Carvalho Baritone Ukulele and reaching 500 followers on the Cloud Uke Instagram account.
In my personal life, 2019 has been a year jam packed with challenges. It seemed once one issue was resolved, another would hit me when I least expected it. On top of these various challenges, work and my university studies, it seemed as if the things I truly love got kicked to the sidelines - Hence why this blog has been neglected for the past few months.
However 2019 has been a massive learning curve. It has taught me the importance of pursuing the things you love because it is those things that keep you grounded and ready to face any challenge. Whether it be playing a musical instrument, going on scenic walks or watching a sport you love, it's a form of 'self care' - And the ukulele is my version of 'self care'.
So my aim for 2020 is to make sure I make the time to focus on my passions. I have plenty of ukulele themed ideas in the pipeline that I cannot wait to share with you.
A big thank you for all your support throughout 2019!
Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2020!
